Glendale, AZ (WCMH) — The back-and-forth motion thriller in Glendale, AZ ended with a win for TCU’s #3 Horned Frogs and a ticket to sunny Los Angeles. The Horned Frogs defeated No. 2 Michigan 51-45 within the Fiesta Bowl at State Farm Stadium to make the Nationwide School Soccer Playoff on January 9.
TCU’s win was led by quarterback Max Dugan scoring 4 complete touchdowns to make the Horned Frogs the primary of 12 groups to attain the CFP title. TCU will face both Georgia or Ohio State within the 2022 Nationwide Championship. Michigan’s second consecutive Semifinal loss.
Michigan began the sport with some fireworks as Donovan Edwards had a 54-yard landing run to begin the sport. Regardless of the early momentum, the Wolverines’ push ended with a fourth fumble and a 2-goal.
